Council for Non-Instructional Planning
Program Planning support and reporting for Non-Instructional units
Council for Non-Instructional Planning (CNIP) mirrors the Council of Instructional Planning (CIP). It will represent departments from the President's Component, Administrative Services, Instruction, and Student Services related to program planning processes. The core responsibility of this council is to provide the framework for non-instructional departments/components to establish and monitor long-term goals. This involves creating the forms and processes for evaluating service outcomes to ensure they are effective and aligned with the institution's mission and goals. The council determines the reporting system, the frequency of reporting, and the methodology in which planning information is integrated and tied to the college's strategic plan.
Non-instructional departments will present their program plans to CNIP for approval.
